FROM THE PRESIDENT
I am so honored to be your 2008 President. Many thanks to our Past President, Tom Spurlin, for a fantastic year. Peggy Vargo, President Elect and I have a very exciting year planned. In January, Carol Clark, Attorney will kick off the new year with "Your GOAL IS GOLD IN 2008" Tips for a GLITTERING Year in Real Estate". In February we have U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson speaking on :Whats going on at Capital Hill and how the Mortgage Relief Act will affect REALTORS. In March, we will be joining with DeKalb, Cobb and Gwinnett to bring our National WCR President, Ann DeFries in to speak. She will also join us for our fund raiser on March 5th. A wine and dine at Maggianos. We will also have an Auction, with our own Tom Spurlin as Auctioneer.
This years focus will be on member involvement and increasing membership. Also, bringing more value to membership is a top priority. Linda Walker, the Education Chair, has many great classes planned throughout the year which will be free to all members. WCR is all about networking, so remember to bring your flyers to the luncheons and check in your Referral Roster to give outbound referrals.
